    Sign up now for FREE beginner lessons this summer brought to you by SMUG and their own Michael Cain at the Switzer Library. 

    Join the group for a series of 6 weekly lessons on Saturdays starting June 20th from 2 to 3pm (except for the July 4th weekend). All experience levels and ages welcome. 

    This is definitely geared toward beginners, but there will always be something for everyone to learn.

  • Jake Shimabukuro at City Winery November 13th

    The biggest star in ukulele will be coming back to Atlanta next month. What can you say about Jake? He’s one of the all-time greatest ukulele players, with a distinctive style and unbelievable technique.

    My long-time weblog host, TypePad, shut down at the end of September 2025. This is AtlantaUkes Version 2. The new host should enable a lot of new features going forward, but for now, things may be a mess for a few days.
